History
of the
Ramona
Cafe
Located in " Old Town
Ramona ", The Ramona Cafe has been a favorite
place to eat since the early 1920's. The present
building that the Cafe occupies was originally
a popular 24 hour eatery called El Patio. Truckers,
farmers, old timers and even some well known
people such as John Wayne and Roy Rogers would
regularly stop in for a burger and a milkshake
while on hunting vacations away from Hollywood
